Universal Environmental Technologies, Inc. (UET) specializes in providing appropriate site-specific technologies and solutions to complex environmental problems. UET has extensive remedial experience with a variety of spilled petroleum products that include gasoline, diesel/heating oils and heavy oils, and also with chlorinated solvents, and inorganic chemicals such as lead, chromium, asbestos, and iron in a variety of site conditions. 

Because UET has been in business for 30 plus years, UET boasts experience with most standard practices, systems, and equipment for remediation. This includes but is not limited to pump and treat (dual phase extraction), single phase extraction, bioremediation, catalytic oxidation, fuels & hydrocarbons removal, ion exchange, membrane filtration, reverse osmosis, nitrates / phosphates removal, ozonation, thermal oxidation, ultraviolet treatment, vacuum extraction systems, air sparging systems, computerized monitoring & control systems, skimmers, air strippers, pumps & pumping (groundwater),

UET Enhanced Solutions

ProBailer Portable System

UET deploys their ProBailer systems when portability is important. The ProBailer is an excellent site assessment tool as it is easily moved from one well to another and if no power is available, it is easily solar enabled. It is most effective when your site needs do not include influencing of product through vacuum or other forces.

Standard ProBailer systems include the following:

  • ProBailer Down Well Unit
  • ProBailer Pump
  • ProBailer Sensors and Tester
  • Collection Container
  • Optional Solar Power Source

ProVac Systems

UET's ProVac remediation systems are designed to solve heavy, medium, and light weight LNAPL and DNAPL remediation challenges. For heavy oil applications viscous oil detection sensors (VODS), larger tubing and wells, and methods of heating to reduce the oils viscosity are added to the system to facilitate remediation. UET builds these systems in a complete range of sizes from ProVac Minis (MRS) as seen in the upper right, to large scale Multi Well ProVacs housed in trailers and fixed buildings. The MRS model is only available for medium to light oil applications

All ProVac systems contain the following basic components:

  • Pressure Source (typically a compressor) and Holding Tank
  • Vacuum Source (typically a pump) and Holding Tank
  • Oil Water Separate
  • Two Disposal Containers (one for oil one for water)
  • Multiple Down Well Units (including solution appropriate sensor technology)
  • Various Floats, Alarms, and Solenoids
  • Complete PLC System for Automation, Control, and Configuration Tuning
  • Remote Monitoring and Control Options
  • Dual Phase and Single Phase Extraction Capability (Product only)

Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE)

UET's SVE and air sparging systems are typically deployed as remediation solutions for gasoline and chlorinated solvent remediation applications. These systems can also be scaled to fit the sites requirements however, UET doesn't currently offer a "Mini" portable at this time. UET does offer trailer and shed options.

UET SVE systems come with explosion proof and intrinsically safe options and the following basic components:

  • SVE Blower and Appropriate Filters
  • Moisture Separator Tank
  • Vapor Carbon Vessel(s) and GAC
  • Compressors and / or Vacuum
  • Multiple Down Well Units (including solution appropriate sensor technology)
  • Various Floats, Alarms, and Solenoids
  • Complete PLC System for Automation, Control, and Configuration Tuning
  • Remote Monitoring and Control Option

Technology Integration Options

Solar Power Integration

UET offers solar powered options on some of our systems. This is particularly helpful when your site is remote, no power source currently exists, or when using a portable system and site conditions vary.

PLC Control Integration

UET offers and in some cases requires PLC control for their remediation equipment. What varies is the degree of customization, reporting, and on going control you desire.

Remote Monitoring and Control Integration

UET offers PC remote monitoring and control integrations. This requires an on-site PC and connectivity via modem and dedicated phone line or internet connection. Several PC applications can be integrated to allow you to take over complete control of the on-site PC that is connected to your PLC. This can save thousands in on-site visits for you and your customers.
